Rapunzel's revenge

Hale, S. (2008). Rapunzel’s revenge.  NY: Bloomsbury.

Rapunzel is raised in a great villa leaving a wonderful life until she finds out she the truth.  She demands to be free to go with her real mother, but is taken away to live alone.  She is able to escape and there starts her adventurous journey to make everything right again.

Not your average fairy tale.  Rapunzel is not in a tall tower awaiting her prince charming.  She is wise and strong and escapes on her own to look for her mother and save her from harm.  A modern twist to the classical fairy tale.  Hale gives readers a story full of adventures and action.  Rapunzel is even different in appearance. She has red hair and wear western clothes unlike the fairy tale version were she is portray with blonde hair and a wearing a gown.
